As usual, Xero had shown himself into Ecclesia’s grounds, it seemed.
Which by now was not a huge surprise for Albus as it was certainly becoming quite run-of-the-mill. Ah, at least he wouldn’t be bored any longer - despite that their last excursion had nearly put him into the med ward for two days due to complete and utter exhaustion. He hadn’t heard the end of it from his concerned clan-mate… Which now made all the more of an excuse to go on another away mission!
At least Xero could put him through his paces, which was a great opportunity for Albus to further train his own abilities and push his own limits further.
"No time like the present." Albus closed the botany book he had been casually reading and returned it to his inventory pouch. "I’ve been expecting you, so I am quite ready to leave when you are. Fancy a drink before we leave?"
"They’re not of major concern, unless if some rooms have Onyx in them then we’re on the right trail. though, i wouldn’t think they would keep the Vengeance Whip in a room like this." Xero answered, the two were about to proceed to the top floor until a someone or something, dashed through them.
Xero spun around before he regains his vision. “Looking for these, Marckus?” A man wielding the Vengeance Whip appeared before their eyes. “Well, Oblivion, nice to meet you again… And stop addressing me as Markcus!” Xero then punches the ground with his gauntlets in anger.
But Oblivion dodged it. “What’s the matter? Hated your name? Don’t worry, i will carve it on your gravestone.” Said Oblivion before he launches the whips at Xero, as the whips latched on, he was electrocuted continuously.
"Xero you really are a popular gent!" Albus called over the sound of the other two men scuffling about, while readying Torpor for another jaunt. "I bet dinner parties at your place are a real riot!"
Launching himself high over the two, he rained down several Torpor crystals, calling ‘heads up’ to Xero before doing so. If the crystals didn’t encase the newcomer, that was fine. At least it would be a distraction and would provide some cover - whips tended to have an insane range, after all.
Once he landed, he retreated to a safe distance so as not to get in the way of whatever tricks this new person had up his sleeve.
Xero was still being electrocuted but was free thanks to Albus’ attack of Torpor crystals, the soldier then switches to the Chaos Blades. “I forgot to tell you that me and my brother are well known here.” Xero explained.
The soldier then grapples Oblivion, making him temporary defenseless. “Albus, fire away!” Xero commanded while their adversary still had their guard down.
