disguiseddhamphir

xeroprimoasbetos asked:

"Oh, Arikado, i did not see you there." The soldier clears his throat a bit. "I suppose you have been getting reports about a strange individual, i only have little information about that person or 'thing' " said the soldier

disguiseddhamphir answered:

"Ah Xero, yes we have, which would be the reason I am here, same for you hm?"

albusofecclesia

xeroprimoasbetos asked:

"Albus, i believe the time has come, my brother is already waiting on the portal."

albusofecclesia answered:

As usual, Xero had shown himself into Ecclesia’s grounds, it seemed.

Which by now was not a huge surprise for Albus as it was certainly becoming quite run-of-the-mill. Ah, at least he wouldn’t be bored any longer - despite that their last excursion had nearly put him into the med ward for two days due to complete and utter exhaustion. He hadn’t heard the end of it from his concerned clan-mate… Which now made all the more of an excuse to go on another away mission!
At least Xero could put him through his paces, which was a great opportunity for Albus to further train his own abilities and push his own limits further.

"No time like the present." Albus closed the botany book he had been casually reading and returned it to his inventory pouch. "I’ve been expecting you, so I am quite ready to leave when you are. Fancy a drink before we leave?"

albusofecclesia:

xeroprimoasbetos:

albusofecclesia:

"I don’t think that prat even had a chance to lay much of a hand on him. Xero pummelled him quite soundly." Albus replied in a flat tone as focused on overlooking Xero’s wounds once given the leave to do so.

"That being said, I think they’ll have another go at it in the future - seems they both don’t know when to quit."

He stood and crossed his arms, looking down at the unconscious Xero, then to Lockjaw.

"Any quick ways to wake your brother up? Bucket of water? Terrible opera singing?"

Lockjaw then pointed his firearm at Xero and fired it but the bullet missed him by inches. Xero then suddenly woke up by the sound of gunfire and the presence of the bullet nearly hitting him. “What? Am i dead? I heard a gunshot.” reacted the awoken soldier.

"Good, you’re awake. You used an excessive amount of your magic reserves, it’s best to escape this place, i would say Leslale is… Deathless." Lockjaw remarked. Xero then nodded and stands up.

With Xero awoken and escaped Leslale, their only objective is to escape Tartarus and find the way back to Asphodel.

The three now wanders the cavern like areas of Tartarus, rather quiet and strange as Leslale is not pursuing them, seeing a large gap between their way. Xero then glanced at Albus as pretty much they know what to do.

Well that was a bit extreme. Albus shook his head at Lockjaw’s method of waking his brother, wondering what kind of lifestyle the two had endured to use such intense tactics. But it had worked, so he could not bring himself to comment on how odd the relationship of the two brothers was.

Thankfully, they were all up and moving again in mere minutes and wandered their way through eerily quiet segments of the underworld. The calm should have been reassuring, but it kept Albus on edge and he trudged behind his allies, keeping up with his position of rear guard. The ensuing paranoia caused him to shirk away for the briefest of moments when he was wordlessly requested to provide his warping services again - for he scanned the area for hostiles a few more times than necessary.
Finally when he was satisfied that it was safe, he measured out a good run distance and stood facing his comrades.

"Right. Same as before. Run and jump on my command." He nodded, awaiting the other two to take their places. "You’ll have to be my eyes and ears. Something about this area doesn’t feel right."

They cleared the gap in the ground in two warp ‘blips’, landing a bit heavily on the other side.

The brothers then lend a hand to Albus and warped on the other side of the gap, Thankfully, no adversaries are waiting them in their position. Continuing to wander the darkest pits of the Underworld, Lockjaw then saw something on the ground.

He picked it up and examines on what appears to be another amulet, the object appears to have a carving of an eye in the middle, the eye also glows a green hue. Again this was not part of their relics list but it might help them.

"I’ve seen this amulet, The Chrono Amulet…" Said Lockjaw and puts the amulet on his pocket, The trio then finds themselves on a lift but the platform is stuck on the upper floor. "Wait here." The boots that Xero got from Oblivion started to glow and ran towards the wall.

He then ran up the wall to lower the platform, a short while, the platform lowered with Xero in it. Lockjaw then entered the lift followed by Albus, and the platform rises up to the upper areas of Tartarus.

maiden-of-alchemy

xeroprimoasbetos asked:

"Hmm...? Another indivdual. Are you in need of something?"

maiden-of-alchemy answered:

Sabriel nervously tilted her head in greeting. “I’m not sure.”

maiden-of-alchemy:

xeroprimoasbetos:

"Not right now brother, i have taken a break from that research of yours." Xero responded and crosses his arms. "Hmm… Alright then, you must be stressed from the too much research we’ve been doing. By the way, here." Lockjaw then hands him an amulet with an eye carving.

Raising a brow into seeing the amulet. “What is this?” Xero questioned. “Well… This might sound strange, but that amulet can slow down time.” Lockjaw answered. “Does it have a limit?” He again questioned.

"Indeed, the amulet runs out of power but it recharges back when not in use. You can keep the amulet. By the way, you two might need some fresh air, don’t worry, the area is clear from any danger, i checked before i got here." said Lockjaw.

"Eh, Not sure, Sabriel, do you want to get some fresh air?" Xero shifted  his attention to the alchemist.

The alchemist nodded. “I wouldn’t mind that.”

The soldier nodded and heads outside, the wind is strong Xero’s hair were blown back, revealing his gray eyes. (irises) “I would never expect the wind is strong.” said Xero.

xeroprimoasbetos:

"Pleasure to meet you Sabriel." Lockjaw smiled and he turns his attention to Xero. "Brother, as i was saying, i am keeping Ostarius as my new pet." said Lockjaw. "Um… Ok, but where did you find a Chimera like that?" Xero questioned his brother. "I can’t remember." Lockjaw responded.

"Hold on, Xero i need you to come with me in the underground chambers." Lockjaw suggested.

Athena shifted on her talons from her perch on Sabriel’s shoulder, reflecting her mistress’s unease. The alchemist felt a bit out of place since the brothers seem to have important matters to deal with. But she didn’t speak up, fearing that would be rude.

"Not right now brother, i have taken a break from that research of yours." Xero responded and crosses his arms. "Hmm… Alright then, you must be stressed from the too much research we’ve been doing. By the way, here." Lockjaw then hands him an amulet with an eye carving.
